Adjust MSP Billing with API
Deon Marshall
Part of the reasons for having and utilising an API, is to take the human/manual factor out of the process.
I would like to be able to update the Plan, Term, Users and Guest Wifi counts from the /settings/billing-info/subscription page via the API.
It feels like a massive oversight to force us to login to DNS Filter every month and manually update a lengthy list of companies to ensure we're doing the right thing.

Please allow MSPs to update subscription numbers (User Count / Guest WiFi APs count) via API

And there is a specific need for managing subscriptions via API which is on-demand provisioning. We can take an order for the service via our portal and do everything we need to provision it immediately, EXCEPT apply a subscription so the client can actually use the service...
That means that every provisioning request has to be mediated by a human and they then have to send out a separate confirmation that the service is live.
Much easier if we could just add the subscription via the API so the service is live in real time, then get all the data together and send the client confirmation of their new service automtically.

Please go futher than this and consider important UI features you added for control as important API features that need to be present as well. MSP's are maturing and we are moving away from using 20 different portals to manage our products. We need a robust API - much appreciated for any effort that goes towards this goal.

Brian J. Weiss: API first really
is
the way to go for any tool focused on selling to MSPs. I don't care what the interface looks like if I never have to see it :).
