Dashboard Log of User-Unblock Requests

Jeeves Murphy
The ability to log and track domain unblock requests that users submit via the DNSFilter block page. Currently, there is no centralized way to view unblock requests submitted by end users. This creates visibility gaps for IT teams who want to review, prioritize, or audit requests.
Requested Functionality:
- Log all user-submitted unblock requests from the block page into the DNSFilter dashboard
- Include submission details: domain name, user/device (if available), timestamp, and policy context
- Provide an exportable report or scheduled summary
- Add filtering/sorting capabilities for faster review
Customer Value:
- Reduces manual handling of unblock requests
- Helps security teams track patterns of denied domains
- Improves transparency and response time for user support

🚀 Great news — this is officially in active development! A centralized view for user-submitted unblock requests is on its way. We'll update this post again when it's live. Stay tuned! 🙌

Surface Website Block Notifications in Portal / Allow Action on them
Mark Porter
We'd like the ability to have domain access requests surfaced in the portal so that we can view them, respond to them via the portal so the user is notified via email on our decision, and a way to easily allow list an item right from that same screen should we decide to go that route.

Embed Link in Block Page
Brian Zick
I'd love to see the ability to include a link on the hosted block page that can be used to embed the link to a ticketing system, and potentially even pass along the blocked domain to the embedded link, so that it's easy for users to request review of a block when they care about it. With the current functionality, the only options are notifications for every block or nothing which makes it difficult for an admin to know what users actually need unblocked.

Integrate unblock requests into the dashboard
Allen Bolderoff
Allow us to see all unblock requests in the dashboard.
Include the machine, user and policy applied.
A button to "allow for this policy" and another to allow for other policies too would be great

i was told that this is a already planned feature but i have my own custom solution that works well if anyone needs !

i have two solutions that I've been using over the past few years
first one requires me to have a separate block page for each policy which is hard to maintain and it requires using the redirect feature
second way is much nicer and everything is fully automated with a single default blockage
but there's a major bug that DNS Filter has which assigns the Block Page Request (internally) of roaming Clients as if its the Site Policy and disregards whatever the Roaming Client Block page policy is
which is preventing the solution from working well
ive been told so many times that it will be fixed but its still broken !
once this is fixed i will be able to share my solution
