With Reporting > Insights, there should be an option to select a default date range. Currently, this is defaulting to "today" when I would like it set to "last 24 hours" or "last 3 days." Last 3 days is not currently there, but I think it should be an option since many DNS query logs are limited to 3 days only.

Thanks for the idea, Eric Nix! Having more control over default time ranges would definitely make Insights easier to work with. Today, Insights Reporting is built on aggregated reports (not the DNS Query Log), which is why the date selectors are tied to that level of data retention and default to up to 30-day views rather than shorter query-based ranges like 3 days. If you want to view 3 days of data, utilize "custom" to get that same set.

If we schedule work to rebuild or enhance Insights to behave more like the Query Log—which already supports the kind of flexibility you’re describing—this is something we’d include in that conversation. Appreciate you calling it out and sharing the use case!
