It's helpful but it's not what I am describing. If I created Allow or block lists and was able to assign them to Filtering policies there would not need to be any duplication as I would be able to say
Non Working hours schedule -> Filtering policy Non Working Hours -> Allow-list Working Hours + Non Working hours
Working hours schedule -> Filtering policy Working Hours -> Allow-list Working hours
It would give much more granular ways to configure it and so I would not have to create duplicates at all

Vincent Briere: Thanks for adding the extra detail—that helps clarify what you’re aiming for. We’re not planning structural changes to the policy system in the near term, so this isn’t something we’ll be pursuing right now.
That said, votes and comments really help us gauge interest, so if this kind of flexibility would make a big difference for your setup, we encourage everyone to let us know!

Thanks for the request! You can already achieve this by duplicating an existing policy instead of creating a new one from scratch. Duplicating lets you build on the setup you’ve already configured without having to recreate your allow or block lists each time.
To do this, open the
Filtering Policies
page and select Duplicate
from the Actions menu (···) on the policy you want to build upon. That should solve having to remake allow/blocks lists for every schedule policy, but if this doesn’t fully meet your business need, let us know what’s missing so we can better understand your scenario. If we don’t hear back within a week, we’ll assume this resolves your request and close the post.
