down
As Rick Stromberg wrote, it would be great feature to lock down the agent from dashbord
Zack
down: Can you clarify your expectations regarding "locking down" the agent? This is to prevent unauthorized uninstallation by a local Administrator? "Tamper-proofing" if you will?
down
Zack: yes. Ability to block uninstall by local admin if agent is active in dashboard. Only after deactivating it on deployment page.
Zack
down: By not showing the application in the Add/Remove programs list, the Uninstall becomes quite nontrivial. More info: https://docs.dnsfilter.com/docs/user-agent-deployment-guide#section-hide-from-add-remove-programs-list
This'll have to be a separate feature request.

Thanks mate,
Zack
The Windows Agent has been released, with a few items pending. See the post description for further details.
Ron
Will there be an additional cost associated with this or will it still be volume based?
Zack
Ron: It will fit into the existing, usage-based pricing. Any queries performed by Windows Agents will be associated with a Site for billing and grouping purposes.
Zack
The current ETA is May 1st.
Ron
Like everyone else...this is a must!!
Adam
