DNSFilter Roaming Client Stops Working Unexpectedly
closed

Endpoint is unable to connect to the internet and cannot connect to network resources.
The "DNS Agent" service is stopped and the IPv4 settings of the network adapter are pointing to 127.0.0.2.
Attempting to start the "DNS Agent" service fails.
Rebooting does not resolve the issue.
The file "C:\Program Files\DNS Agent\log4net.dll" must be replaced with a copy from a working system.
When the issue occurs, the log4net.dll file hash is the following SHA-256 value:
B9C048DE34D844A2381155656D249036A85A52B60CB9FD06BF1600E44D7AA3AE
Has anyone else had this issue? Can we get support on how to resolve this?

Thanks for sharing the details of what you’re seeing. At this time, we don’t have any known issues that match the behavior you’ve described.
If the problem persists, the best next step is to open a ticket with our Support team. When you do, please include diagnostic logs from an affected device — that will give our engineers the information they need to troubleshoot further.

We had issues the past week. We were not able to pin them down. Both seemed to be resolved by removing IPv6 support from the network cards/
