API
2/18 February 18 - APP/API v25.07.0
We've made a number of changes this release that will address some quality-of-life concerns in the product.
Enhancements
- Collections Page- Key changes include the introduction of new APIs that suppress deleted AD records and incorporate pagination to minimize data load. The page now operates on a 'load on demand' basis, improving efficiency by loading only selected contents when navigating the AD tree. Users should note that searches will be confined to loaded content.
- Domain Report- The Domain Report interface in the DNSFilter dashboard has been enhanced to streamline report handling and improve automation capabilities. We now include the current domain categories directly in the report submission, providing better context and reducing manual processing efforts for our Security Intelligence team members. Users will find additional dropdown options for both the “Categories” and “Security Threats” sections, allowing users to propose new categories or specify security threat types more accurately.
- Local Domains- Enhancements have been made to support local domain addresses containing underscores within the dashboard. Although RFC 1035 doesn't permit underscores in public URLs, our update accommodates internal hostnames and captive portals that may include them, such as cppd_vip.domain.xyz.
Bug Fixes
- We've restored the DNSFilter Favicon in the browser.
