This Beta release focuses on reliability, local DNS accuracy, and improved connectivity across macOS environments.
🛠️ Improvements
  • Reliable Local Hostname Resolution
    – Non-FQDN hostnames (such as computer names) now resolve correctly using local DNS servers, ensuring consistent local network connectivity even if public DNS fails.
  • Correct Local Resolver Usage
    – Queries for
    .local
domains and dashboard-configured local domains now properly use the specified local DNS resolvers instead of routing to our anycast network.
🪲 Bug Fixes
  • AirPrint Discovery Restored
    – Network printers now appear correctly when the Roaming Client is enabled.
  • Improved DoT/TLS Stability
    – Fixed intermittent connectivity issues affecting apps like Slack, Chrome, and Gmail when DNS-over-TLS was enabled.
  • DNSProxy Reliability
    – Resolved an issue where the DNSProxy process could unexpectedly stop on certain 2.3.x builds.
