A new version of the Windows Roaming client is now available in the dashboard (

Deployments -> Roaming Clients -> Install

) for download and installation.

Improvements 🛠️

EDNS attributes are now included in queries sent to local resolvers. This feature should improve DNS resolution performance in environments configured to route DNS traffic first to a local resolver before forwarding to DNSFilter resolvers. If you wish to disable this behavior you can modify the
IncludeLocalResolversEdnsRecords
registry setting to
False
.

Bug Fixes 🪲

Resolved an issue that caused an access error when upgrading from v1.10.7. The specific error message seen was
Error writing to file: C:\Program Files\DNSFilterAgent\ARSoft.Tools.Net.dll. Verify that you have access to that directory
.
Fixed an issue that unnecessarily called an API endpoint every 5 seconds to sync.
