Improve notes functionality on Allow & Block lists
Scott Thomson
The notes feature is appreciated, but it could use some additional enhancements to improve overall function:
1) Allow editing of notes on existing list entries.
2) If a new entry raises the 'CNAME' workflow (where additional domains are recommended & added alongside the initial domain), apply any notes from the original entry to the CNAME entries as well.
3) Allow for notes entry from the 'inline' allow/block function on the Domain Query tool.

I agree with this feature. This would be very beneficial to us. Also, as noted in other comments - it would be great to be able add notes to the csv file so that they're added automatically.

I would like this feature as well. It makes it hard to track exceptions if we don't have notes for entries.

We've been fighting this for several years. Why can't we add a note to an existing entry? The quick add to whitelist from the domain lookup tool is useless given we can't specify a note there or afterwards. And as others have said, some sort of CNAME reference or comment to the parent domain is a must for the times you have to unblock multiple domains.

Seems like a no brainer to make the (automatically created) CNAME entries (automatically create) a note on the CNAME records that reference the parent domain.

Ability to update the notes for an Allowed site.

This would be extremely helpful...
Also using the import csv list option should allow for a notes column for mass import of domains
Extremely tedious to only do it the manual way, not through domain query tool, additional CNAME's detected automatically, csv, or even having the ability to modify the notes section after adding a domain to the allow list.

It's cumbersome that you have to delete an entry and recreate it to add notes. At least the universal lists allow editing notes.

This is a much needed feature. You can update the notes in the universal lists, but not the allowed/blocked list of individual policies.

Yes! We want this feature!
I don't want to go back and remove and re-add the auto-populated CName records with the appropriate note.
