Is this feature in development? I find this to be a major limitation.

Here is an example from a competing product - https://support.goguardian.com/s/article/Best-Practices-Advanced-Filtering-Tips-1629765148235#: see the heading "Blocking Google Searches"

Keyword & Image Blocking

We are losing customers because we cannot perform keyword or image blocking. Keyword is a common blocking technique that other filters can do. Please take both of these blocking abilities into consideration.

And yes, these links and nude photos are accessible even when SafeSearch is being enforced.

An example of the problem can be seen in the nude photos that are accessible when you perform a search for 'risqué photos'. This is just one of the provided links when performing that search: https://www.etsy.com/market/antique_risque_photo?ref=pagination&page=2

It would be beneficial to our customers for us to be able to block keyword searches. Most filter companies provide this ability and it is generally expected.

It's been 3 years but I second this, I'm in the same boat as Tim with a primary school, and can see that other providers have this as a feature.

Jarrah: the other providers that have this feature are proxy filters not DNS filters. With DNS filtering data like keywords is simply not visible. That being said, integration of an SSL inspection proxy into the DNSfilter roaming agent to tackle keywords, app tenant controls, extended YouTube controls, etc would make a lot of sense and give it a competitive edge

GoGuardian is a Layer7 protection agent. DNSFilter is looking at DNS at Layer4. Two completely different products.
GoGuardian DNS is what you need to compare and they can't block search terms based on their DNS product because that too happens at Layer4.
