We have a number of macOS devices that we would like to update but DNSFilter Agent is not yet officially supported.

Version 1.8.6, the current production channel version, supports Sequoia. We've made changes to the bash script to install the agent silently, and strongly advise installing the Root CA ahead of the agent itself to avoid issues with MacOS' SIP and spurious errors regarding signing. Please see our help documentation for the updated bash scripts, as well as instructions on installing the Root CA ahead of the agent.

MacOS Roaming Client Agent remains unsigned for Sequoia (15)

MacOS Roaming Client Agent remains unsigned for Sequoia (15) and we are getting errors on all deployments as our users upgrade to Sequoia. The only workaround is to reduce the security of the MacOS workstations which doesn't seem like a safe alternative. Is there a plan to appropriately sign these agents?
According to the documentation for installing agents on macos remotely managed, running the installer commands produce these errors forbidding remote installs.
installer: Install failed: The install was canceled because the application integrity could not be verified.
installer: Warning: DNSFilter-Agent-Installer.pkg was signed with a certificate that is not valid for store submission.

beta / early access
Concerns around System Integrity Protection were addressed in version 1.8.6. There have been changes to the way installation has to happen via RMM on Mac systems, and we've made requisite changes to the documentation to reflect this.

We need to get a signed package for Sequoia asap. Kind of alarming that a security company has not published a signed package for an OS that has been out for over a month, which could allow untrusted software to be installed.

FWIW, I have 2 computers running DNSFilter Roaming Client 1.8.4 on Sequoia 15.0.1 without issue.

We've had a support ticket open since before the official GA to get ahead of this. We're on hold on for macOS upgrades and the prepping of new devices with the OS until this gets addressed.

Agreed - this needs to be supported asap
