Feature Requests

NextDNS allows use of DNS over HTTPS per profile. DNSFilter should allow DoH to point to specific policies and to allow devices to have DoH profiles (not just users with a roaming profile). This would be helpful for routers that support DoH but not DoT, and it would also be helpful to force certain clients on a VLAN with a separate policy to adhere to a policy for that client. It would also allow client-level statistics within a policy.

Wanting to have DoH support for all versions of Roaming Clients.

Provide an interface for clearing DNS entries from the DNSFilter cache similar to Google Public DNS https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/cache and OpenDNS https://cachecheck.opendns.com This would be very helpful to DNSfilter customers who have changed a DNS record for a domain they own.

Hi. I'm currently using NEXTDNS and considering to switch to other alternatives. While researching, I came across DNSFilter and was impressed of their features. I was bit disappointed when I found out that they don't have (please let me know if i'm wrong) DoT/DoH addresses that you can just input into your router or other devices but instead you need to install a software or need a ddns server to work.

This request is for DNSFilter to provide IPv6 support in the published network resolvers.

We would like to setup the private DNS similar to how we have with Cloudflare. We can use a unique endpoint for DoH or DoT, so that no agent is necessary. https://developers.cloudflare.com/cloudflare-one/connections/connect-devices/agentless/dns/dns-over-https/

DNS-over-TLS for (local domains) allows for more secure DNS without the need for a VPN on roaming users.

Add support for quic

Similar to what Cisco Umbrella allows. Right now, DNSfilter only takes DNS requests from registered IPs. This can have bad results when IPs change. I'm not expecting a full security solution for unregistered IPs, but still having DNS resolve would be nice.
